Shared Hope International was founded by Linda Smith. As a teenager she went to the facility when it was Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church. It was there she met Vern, her future husband. They were married at Glad Tidings. After many years they have returned and now call New Life Friends Church their home church. July 2018 Vern went home to be with his Lord and Savior. A true solider of the cross.

Pray Vancouver was a ministry I facilitated from 1999 to 2004. Meeting at New Life Friends Church Sunday evening March 2, 2003. This was been a miraculous fulfillment the Lord laid on my heart in 1988.
It was Pastor Dave White desire to come to the Rosemere area to have a
Bible study and pizza feed for the kids of the neighborhood in 1999/2000?
From having a Bible study Dave became the pastor of Rosemere Friends Church, a little building located on St Johns Road near 33rd. Through and incredible series of events, he along with the NW Friends denomination obtained Uncle Milts Pizza Parlor that became the new location for New Life Friends Church. Dave Pastored at that location beginning in 2002 until the Summer of 2013. Pastor Dave put his heart and souls as well as his own personal finances into this facility. He served faithfully all those eleven years unsalaried. He stepped down as he wanted to spend more time with his family. Pastor Dave appointed Jamie Kingsbury in 2013 as pastor who served in that position, also unsalaried.
